Inhabiting otherwise — New Antipode Paper on a decolonial alternative to human-nature relationship by Leiyo Singo’s paper

In the recently published paper ‘Inhabiting Otherwise’: Maasai Pastoralists’ Ontological Struggles Over Land in Tanzania, our team member Leiyo Singo highlights a Maasai’s relational mode of inhabitation: Eramatare. He argues that Eramatare has the potential to initiate a genuinely decolonised socio-ecological transformation by offering insights into the establishment of a equitable relationship between humans and nature.
