The University of Bayreuth has signed the cooperation agreement for the nationwide "Knowledge Network on Racism Research" (WinRa). Together with eight partner institutions, it wants to intensify research on racism in Germany, network it and make it more visible.

The aim is to investigate the causes and modes of operation of right-wing extremism and racism from a systematic and historical perspective. The research results and the recommendations for action generated from them are intended to create a basis for countering right-wing extremism and racism appropriately.
